Polea

Polea is a movable wall-mounted sculpture that brings together stone, brick, metal fittings, and cable within a simple mechanical system. A stone collected from a local park is paired with common construction materials and suspended within a structure that can be activated by the viewer. As elements shift position in response to new forces, stability emerges through interaction rather than control, revealing balance as an active and constantly negotiated condition.
By combining found materials with simple mechanical principles, Polea makes visible the forces that connect and sustain different elements.
